March “Mud”ness Tip: Day 6

Stretching is good – join our partners from Cross Fit Proper in Corona before your wave starts.  They can lead you in some stretching exercises that will loosen your muscles and prevent injuries.

Running obviously requires endurance, but many of the obstacles also require strength and flexibility.  You’re going to want to warm up your muscles, especially if it’s a little chilly in the morning hours.

Don’t forget to cool down afterward as well.  A stroll around the festival area is a good way to bring your heart rate back down to a resting rate, and it will keep you from being as sore the next morning.

We can’t promise you won’t feel it on Sunday morning, but if you stretch first and cool down afterward, you should be fine.
