March “Mud”ness Tip: Day 24

Bring Band Aids – The entire point of challenging yourself to a mud run is to get down and crawl though it.  This can result in a few small cuts or scrapes on your knees or elbows.  Very rarely is it anything to worry about, but you should be prepared to clean them up and apply a little Neosporin and a Band Aid.  We don’t mind if you want to show off your battle scars after the race.  You earned them!  We just don’t want to see anybody end up with an infection if it can be avoided.

We’ll have a first aid station on site as well, but we won’t have those cool Scooby Doo Band Aids you like, so you might want to bring a few of your own.
